Mt. Yoshino is accessible by both train and car. If you are driving, Shimo-senbon Parking Lot (Lower Senbon Area) is the recommended parking location.
However, during peak cherry blossom season, this parking lot is reserved exclusively for buses, so please keep this in mind when planning your visit. Outside the cherry blossom season, the parking lot generally does not become full, making it a convenient option for visitors.

If you’re driving to Yoshino from Nara or Osaka, this roadside station is a great stop along the way. It’s one of the larger stations in the area, featuring a wide variety of local woodcrafts made from Yoshino cedar, giving the interior a wonderful natural aroma.
The station also sells fresh local produce and specialty souvenirs, making it an excellent place to pick up gifts from the Yoshino region.
